Beware of lookalike apps · July 20, 2026, 15:00 UTC
While Fast Bundle was temporarily unavailable on the Shopify App Store, we had not published the app under any other name. Any app using a similar name is not affiliated with Fast Bundle, and we have not verified their migration processes, so we cannot guarantee that migrating to these apps is safe. Official updates are shared only on this page and through our support team. See the full list of copycat apps.

Fast Bundle is fully visible again
Fast Bundle is available to install and can once again be found in Shopify App Store search. We're happy to see Fast Bundle back among the top five search results for "bundle."
More than 1,000 merchants reinstalled within the first two days of our return, and that number continues to grow. We would love to welcome you back with special offers as well.

Fast Bundle can now be reinstalled through a direct link
In our latest communication, the Shopify team wrote:
"Your app, FBP | Fast Bundle, has been restored to limited visibility. This means that you can now share your app's install link with your merchants so they can add it back to their stores."
You can now reinstall Fast Bundle using the direct link below, which will take you to our Shopify App Store listing.
As always, our 24/7 support team is here for you and ready to help make your return as smooth as possible. We're excited to welcome you back!

Fast Bundle return timeline update
Based on our previous communication with the Shopify team, we had hoped Fast Bundle would be available sooner, and we shared that expectation with you. In their most recent email, Shopify told us that Fast Bundle "is currently in the process of being restored to limited visibility, which we anticipate completing before the end of this week." Once the app is restored to limited visibility, we expect we will be able to send you direct reinstall links.
This end-of-week timeline comes directly from Shopify's latest email to us. Unfortunately, it is an estimate they provided and not a confirmed ETA. We are continuing to follow up closely and will share any new information as soon as we receive it. Our support team remains available 24/7 for any questions or assistance.

Security review complete, relisting underway
Shopify has completed its review of both the Incident Report (IR) and the third-party Vulnerability and Penetration Testing (VAPT) report, and considers the security issue resolved on our end. We have also received official confirmation from Shopify's Partner Governance team on the next step:
"Our team is now working on relisting FBP | Fast Bundle to the Shopify App Store. We expect to have a timeline for you by July 28, 2026."
As shared previously, once the app is available again, existing merchants will be able to reinstall it and their previous bundle configurations will be restored.
Thank you for your continued patience and trust. We will keep you updated through this status page as soon as we hear more.

Preparing the reinstallation path for existing merchants
As we continued working through the reinstatement process with Shopify, it became clear that a clean technical path to automatically reinstall Fast Bundle across existing stores has not yet been established. At this stage, the technical risk of automatic reinstallation is more than we are comfortable accepting, particularly where it could affect the shopping experience on merchants' storefronts.
For that reason, we are now preparing for Fast Bundle to become available again on the Shopify App Store, after which previous users will be able to reinstall the app.
As part of this process, Shopify is currently reviewing the third-party penetration test and has indicated that we should receive a further update after Monday.
Based on where things stand today, we are hopeful for progress by Tuesday, July 28. We want to be transparent that Tuesday is our current expectation, not a confirmed ETA, as the timing at this stage depends on Shopify.
We remain focused on a safe and smooth return for our merchants, and we will keep you updated through this status page. Thank you again for your patience and trust.

Implementing technical requirements for a smooth re-installation process
On July 23, 2026, we met with representatives from Shopify's technical team. Following their approval of the Incident Report, Shopify has confirmed that Fast Bundle will be able to again be active within the Shopify ecosystem.
This comes with a set of technical requirements from Shopify, in order to assure a smooth installation process in the future. We are negotiating with Shopify to find a suitable and effortless auto reactivation process. We believe that these negotiations will take a few business days. If we don't find a zero-risk solution regarding merchants' customers' shopping experience, we will immediately switch to the scenario in which merchants attempt to install the app again.
After getting enabled on the app store, we will notify our user base to start the installation process over. Worth mentioning, in both scenarios all your previous bundles configurations will be restored.
Three unaffiliated apps got delisted
In the meantime, Shopify has delisted three apps that had adopted the Fast Bundle name following the incident. This action further protects merchants and helps maintain the integrity and safety of the Shopify ecosystem.
Thank you for your patience while we get this done, and for trusting us to bring the app back in the best way possible.

Preparing to come back online
Shopify has reviewed and verified the third-party technical incident report, marking an important step toward restoring the Fast Bundle service.
We are now working closely with Shopify on the reinstatement process. Based on our communication, Shopify will restore shops to their previous subscription plans, and merchants' existing app configurations will remain intact.
We are hopeful that the app will be available again soon and will share further updates as soon as we have confirmed information.
Thank you for your continued trust, patience, and cooperation throughout this process.

Incident report submitted
The Incident Report was submitted to Shopify on July 21, marking an important step forward in the reinstatement process. The independent penetration test is still underway.
The ongoing trend of other apps using the Fast Bundle name
We continue to see other apps changing their names to include "Fast Bundle." We have no affiliation or integration with them and have not verified their migration processes, so we cannot guarantee that migrating to these apps is safe.
We will announce Fast Bundle's return through our official channels as soon as it becomes available again.
Preparing for every reinstatement scenario
While Shopify completes its review, we are planning ahead for the different ways reinstatement may take place and preparing solutions for potential challenges in advance.
Our goal is to minimize disruption for our valued merchants, and our 24/7 support team will remain available throughout the process.

Next steps toward reinstatement
The incident report requested by Shopify is expected to be completed by the end of the day (July 21st), and will be submitted for review immediately.
Shopify has confirmed that the reinstatement process for Fast Bundle can begin once the incident report (IR) has been reviewed and approved. Based on the communication rhythm between us, Shopify and the 3rd party firm preparing the IR, if approved by Shopify, we expect to be live again in the next 3 days.
Avoiding confusion with other apps
While Fast Bundle is temporarily unavailable, other apps are using "Fast Bundle" in their names. The following apps are not affiliated with us:

Security testing completed, review continues
Over the past 24 hours, Fast Bundle completed a thorough immediate online penetration test, and no security vulnerabilities were found in the areas reviewed.
We have shared the incident details and relevant updates with our customers. Our investigation and the completed security testing have found no indication that any customer, store, or shopper data was accessed, exposed, or leaked.
We remain in close contact with Shopify and are working through the required review process. Our priority is to restore Fast Bundle for existing merchants as soon as possible and minimize any further disruption to their businesses.
We will continue to share updates as they become available. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Independent security assessment initiated
After sharing our initial report with Shopify and their confirmation, their team asked us to provide two additional items as the next step in their review process: an independent, third-party Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT) report, and a formal Incident Report (IR).
We've engaged a specialized third-party security firm to carry out this work, and it is now underway.
We will share another update as soon as this step is complete and we hear back from Shopify's team.
Review process
Initial report shared with Shopify
We shared our initial report of the incident with Shopify, and their team confirmed it as part of the review process to restore the app's availability and allow existing users to reactivate their bundles.
Precautionary measure
Temporary removal by Shopify
As a precautionary measure, Shopify temporarily removed Fast Bundle from the App Store and deactivated the app for existing users. This is why Fast Bundle may show as uninstalled on your store.
