On July 17, 2026, the Fast Bundle Shopify app experienced a security attack and was temporarily removed from the Shopify App Store as a precaution. The issue was resolved on our side, verified by an independent third-party assessment, and reviewed and approved by Shopify. The key milestones:
August 3, 2026
Fast Bundle is fully visible again
Back in App Store search, among the top five results for "bundle". More than 1,000 merchants reinstalled within the first two days.
July 30, 2026
Reinstall available through a direct link
Shopify restored the app to limited visibility and existing merchants could reinstall via the direct install link.
July 27, 2026
Shopify completed its security review
Shopify reviewed the Incident Report and the third-party VAPT report and confirmed it considers the issue resolved on our end.
July 19, 2026
Independent security assessment initiated
A third-party Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT) process and formal incident response began.
July 17, 2026
Security attack detected
The app experienced a security attack and was temporarily removed from the Shopify App Store as a precaution.
